WORKSHOP FACILITATION: THE TRANSITION TO HYBRID WORKING

To shine the spotlight on hybrid working – and to open a dialogue about the challenges and opportunities – Bureau Veritas hosted a workshop for global health and safety professionals from key customers.

The transition to hybrid working may have been accelerated by COVID-19, but it was already gaining momentum before any sign of a global pandemic.

True hybrid working is anywhere, anytime. It goes beyond working from home, taking into account varied working locations, hours of work, new ways of communication and more.

Hybrid is a combination of traditional and new, increasingly common with employers and now the most popular choice of working pattern for employees. But it is a complex area and one that businesses need to get right.

OUTCOMES

Our panel was hand-picked to represent a diverse spread of workforces, working environments, policies and procedures. Key health and safety matters relating to hybrid working were discussed, from remote DSE (Display Screen Equipment) assessments, right through to mental wellbeing, transparency and attracting new talent.

This was a unique opportunity for those attending to share knowledge on strategies to successfully implement hybrid working and the results provide a vital benchmark for others in similar roles.
