How are you adapting to your new role at Bureau Veritas?

It's been quite a whirlwind since I joined, with the task of familiarising myself with my team, various departments and the broader scope of the business. The LEAP 28 meetings were particularly beneficial, offering insight into Bureau Veritas's overarching vision and future aspirations and I look forward to aiding our team in meeting these targets.

What prompted your decision to join Bureau Veritas, and what attracted you to this particular role?

I thrive on challenges and the opportunity to acquire new skills, and transitioning into an industry where I lack prior experience was a significant draw for me. Having worked across various organisational scales, from large multinational corporations to mid-sized family-owned businesses and start -ups, I've found that I feel most at home in esteemed market-leading companies like Bureau Veritas. Perhaps it stems from my military background, where I value the structure and processes inherent in organisations like this.

What does your role encompass?

In essence, my role entails crafting a Sales Strategy aligned with the objectives of LEAP 28 to drive business growth. This involves collaborating not only with the Sales Teams but also with Operational Teams to ensure alignment on our market objectives and the strategies to achieve them.

What are your anticipated highlights for the future?

Given that I'm only a month into the role, my outlook is primarily focused on the short term. Beyond witnessing improved sales performance, I'm intrigued by the potential opportunities that Bureau Veritas may offer. While my background is rooted in the Security and Fire sectors, I'm open to exploring where this journey within Bureau Veritas might lead me.
