Course Description

The curriculum recognised by the FDA to become a PCQI, as requested by the Preventive Controls Rule of the FSMA

The new FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) introduced in the USA will affect all food manufacturers exporting products to the USA. The new legislation expects all exporting organisations in the world to be operating to the same requirements as manufacturers within the USA.

From 16th September 2016, all food processing companies exporting to the USA must comply with one of the Key FSMA Rules on “Current GMP, Hazard Analysis and Risk based Preventive Controls for Human Food”: every facility must have a Qualified Individual.
