Bureau Veritas UK certified as one of the Top Employers United Kingdom 2016
Bureau Veritas UK, a leader in testing, inspection and certification services (TIC), is proud to announce that it has been officially certified by the Top Employers Institute for its exceptional employee offerings, for the fourth year running.
The annual, international research, undertaken by the Top Employers Institute, recognises leading employers around the world: those that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organisation, and which strive to continuously optimise employment practices. Bureau Veritas UK is one of the organisations to achieve the Top Employers United Kingdom 2016 Certification and be officially recognised as a leading employer.
Eleanor Nickerson, Director of UK Operations for the Top Employers Institute: “The Top Employers Institute examines the HR practices and offerings that each participating company puts in place for its people, to create and maintain optimal employee conditions. Our in-depth examination concluded that Bureau Veritas UK provides an outstanding employee experience, with high quality initiatives that engage, reward and motivate employees, ensuring that people can develop themselves personally and professionally, and build a rewarding career.”
Claire Antony, Head of HR UK at Bureau Veritas, said: “This is the fourth year in a row that we have been certified as a Top Employer, which demonstrates our ongoing commitment to nurturing the talent we have at Bureau Veritas and creating the best working environment for our employees.
“Our success as a company is down to the skilled and dedicated workforce we have in place, which is why we place a huge importance on developing our staff. However, it’s not only the company and employees that benefit from our employee practices, it means our clients ultimately receive an excellent service.
“We welcome the findings from the Top Employers Institute and will continue to use their guidance and standards to ensure we improve our employee offer year on year.”
Crucial to the Top Employers Certification is the completion of a stringent research process, and meeting the required standard in order to achieve Certification. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited, meaning this research has verified Bureau Veritas UK’s outstanding employee conditions and earned them a coveted spot among a select group of certified companies.
The Top Employers Institute assessed Bureau Veritas UK’s employee offerings on the following criteria:
• Talent Strategy
• Workforce Planning
• Learning & Development
• Performance Management
• Leadership Development
• Career & Succession Management
• Compensation & Benefits
