Bureau Veritas is leading the way in promoting pest management best practice worldwide
Our UK CEPA Product Manager Jessica Morgan is representing Bureau Veritas and the Confederation of European Pest Management Associations on a stand at the Global Food Safety Conference in Houston, Texas.
The three day event, held at the end of February, invites key food industry leaders to discuss innovation and efficiency within the industry. Seminars focus on ‘Transparency & Visibility in the Supply Chain’ and ‘Certification’, opening up a great opportunity for Bureau Veritas to network and discuss how pest management impacts the industry.
Keen to promote the cause, Jessica said: “The CEPA Certified benchmark is key in business differentiation and I believe the success of the scheme will be driven by pest management end users. It is of the utmost importance for these processors and retailers to ensure their pest management operators are professional and it is the mark of CEPA Certified which provides this level of credibility.
The interest and uptake of the standard within contract specifications, I believe, will drive the standard across countries and within all sectors of the pest management industry.
I am excited to showcase the successful roll out of CEPA certification provided by Bureau Veritas in our network of European offices to attendees of the GFS Conference.”
This year’s Global Food Safety Conference takes place from 27 February to 2 March 2017. Jessica can be found at the Bureau Veritas stand, booth 208-210.
