The Pride of Bureau Veritas
Congratulations to everybody who was nominated in the Bureau Veritas North West Europe Pride Awards, recognising people from across the business who go above and beyond in pursuit of excellence.
At Bureau Veritas we are proud to say that our biggest strength is our people. Our expert teams of experienced professionals deliver excellence to internal and external clients seven days a week, 365 days a year – and the Pride Awards is a chance to recognise those who stand out.
Every colleague has the chance to nominate someone in the business who has made a difference through their everyday actions and behaviours, and this year was one of the biggest yet.
A total of 260 nominations were made in six categories from across the North West Europe business, including 140 from the UK and Ireland. A senior panel of cross-country, cross-functional judges then selected category winners for each country based on a specific set of criteria.
In the UK and Ireland, David Payne was named winner of the Team Player award, Stuart Baker was recognised for Health and Safety excellence and Michael Hunter took the Internal Customer Service award. Sam Dodd, Gail Bould and David Gray were also recognised, picking up the awards for Client Focus External, Line Manager and Service Delivery.
Congratulations to all of the country winners, and of course to everybody else who received a nomination.
Ken Smith, UK chief executive and IVS managing director for Bureau Veritas North West Europe, said: “These awards are special because nominations are made by our colleagues in recognition of the excellence delivered every single day by the fantastic people we have at Bureau Veritas.
“I could not fail to be impressed reading the nominations, about what people are doing and the impact they are having on others. It makes me incredibly proud and I hope to see even more nominations this time next year.”
